Chicken Parmesan
There is a restaurant that I used to love to go to that served the best chicken parmesan that I'd ever had. It was hands-down my favorite dish there. Going plant-based for a long time meant giving that up but as some years passed and I discovered new plant-based items, I discovered a plant-based chicken breast that was so simialr I had to make this recipe. My husband absolutely loved it. it screamed comfort food to me, wholesome and hearty. Add some fresh basil for color and plant-based parmesan cheese and you'll have yourself a winning dish everytime.
- Quorn Meatless Pesto & Mozzarella cutlets
- Fettuccini or Favorite Pasta
- Pasta Sauce
- Plant-Based Parmesan Cheese
- Fresh Basil
- Salt & Pepper
- Cooking Spray
- Diced Tomatoes
- Italian Seasoning
Start by heating the oven to the desired temperature. Cook the chicken cutlets according to directions.
While the chicken is cooking, bring a large pot of water to boil and cook pasta according to the directions.
Take a medium sized sauce pan and heat the sauce, tomatoes and some Italian seasoning. Heat until bubbling, stirring occasionally.
Once the pasta is cooked and tender, strain and place a desired serving into a pasta bowl. Top with one chicken cutlet, and two spoonfulls of sauce. Sprinkle with parmesan cheese and some fresh basil.
Enjoy!
