- Plant-based Meat Patties
- Plant-based Cheese
- Red Bell Pepper
- Red Onion
- Portablello Mushrooms
- Fresh lettuce
- Fresh Tomato
- Hamburger Bun
- Cooking Spray
- Vegetable Oil
- Salt & Pepper
Start by slicing the pepper and the onion into thin strips. Add to a medium sized skillet, heated with cooking spray. Saute for 5 minutes. Add the mushrooms and saute for another 5 minutes or until all the veggies are tender.
Cook the patties in another medium skillet. Season with a sprinkling of salt and pepper on each side. Once both sides are done, place a piece of plant-based cheese on one side but place a lid on top of the skillet. This will melt the cheese.
Assemble the burger by placing the lettuce on the bun, followed by one patty, a tomato slice, the second patty and top with the peppers, mushrooms and onions. Serve immediately with a side salad or fries.
Enjoy!
