Pancakes with Sausages & Eggs

What could be more traditional as far as a breakfast goes than to have pancakes, sausages and eggs come together on one plate?  Here is a fun fact for all of your breakfast aficionados.  The original Bisquick pancake baking mix is vegan.  It was one of those fun things I learned by reading an article one day that I had to simply then look up and find out.  I refer to it as accidentally vegan.  Some things were simply made that way in their original format.  Hasn't hurt anyone yet.  Here are a few simple ingredients that you'll need to make one of the most traditional breakfasts ever conceived.
  • Bisquick Baking Mixfollow directions on box for amount
  • Plant-based Sausage Links2 - 4 links
  • Plant-based Egg1 - 1 1/2 cups
  • Wateras directed
  • Cooking Sprayas needed
  • Butter1 tsp - 1 T
  • Salt & Pepperto taste
  • Maple Syrupas needed
- Start by gethering two skillets and a large griddle for cooking.  Next prepare the batter by following the directions on the back of the box.  If the pancakes are too thick then add some more water but add 1/4 cup at a time to avoid it becoming too thin.
-Throw between 2 - 4 sausage links into a skillet to cook, coating lightly with cooking spray first.  Turn these links a quarter of a turn every five minutes.  When done, remove to a small plate with a paper towel on it to cool
- Take the other skillet and coat with more cooking spray.  Once heated for a few minutes, add the amount of egg you wish and cook througgh.  It will begin to firm up after about five minutes.  Keep stirring it with a spatula until done
- Once your griddle is heated, spray with some cooking spray and pour on an amount of batter.  Cook for about four to five minutes per side.  Top with butter and some maple syrup.
- Assemble your desired portions on to your plate and Enjoy!
